Welcome and thank you for your interest in our school!
Founded in 1967, the Tuttle School began out of need for one family. As we approach our 50th year of successes, we applaud our founders, Dave and Yvonne Streit, visionaries who believed in children and saw the potential in each and every child. Our founders based the beginnings of The Tuttle School on the pillars of an education whose focus included not only academics, but also the social, emotional and physical well-being of each child.
The education that a Tuttle School student receives is much more than academics. What our students experience every day is a world where they are immediately welcomed and surrounded by friends. For many of our students, this is the first time they have ever had a friend, the first time they have ever been invited to a birthday party or a sleepover! The friendships begin within the walls of Tuttle School and they last a lifetime, way beyond the school years. Friendships truly are cherished forever!
We hope that you will take the time to learn more about us by calling and by visiting our campus to see Tuttle School in action. It is an exciting place where you will see students who are experiencing, often for the first time, a place where they are recognized and honored for what they CAN do! You will see a school where children are learning, growing and building friendships.
Come celebrate Tuttle School with us!
