At The Tuttle School, we are committed to providing innovative and supportive learning environments that empower our students to reach their full potential. Our new sensory room is designed specifically for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, offering a safe and engaging space to explore sensory input, develop emotional regulation, and enhance cognitive growth.
Why a Sensory Room?
Our sensory room was created in partnership with Sensational Spaces to provide:
A calming environment for students who may feel overwhelmed
Engaging sensory activities that promote cognitive and motor skills
Tools for emotional regulation, helping students feel safe and in control
A personalized space where students can learn in a way that best fits their needs
Made Possible by Our Supporters
The Tuttle Schools thanks the Clark and Charlene Thompson Foundation, the Mackenzie family, and the Briarwood and Tuttle families for their generous contributions in making this space a reality.
