JOB TITLE: Advancement Associate – Events and Volunteer Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Director of Advancement
DIRECTLY SUPERVISES: None
STATUS: Salary, 40 hours/week, 12 Month Contract
JOB SUMMARY: The Events and Volunteer Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Advancement. The Events and Volunteer Coordinator’s primary goal is to deliver results and to ensure that all projects, events, and initiatives advance the mission of the school and support the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship goals of the Advancement department. Responsible for the organization, planning, follow through on all school events, recruiting volunteers, and coordinating volunteer activities. Work closely with the Director of Advancement to ensure that all events advance the mission of The Briarwood and Tuttle Schools, and supports the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship goals for schools, and to document and evaluate ways to improve upon fundraising events hosted or supported by The Briarwood and Tuttle Schools. This position will play a critical role in partnering with the Director of Advancement and the Head of School.

JOB TITLE: Life Zones Teacher
REPORTS TO: Director of The Tuttle School
DIRECTLY SUPERVISES: None
STATUS: Salary, 40 hours/week, Teacher Contract
JOB SUMMARY: The Life Zones Teacher is responsible for providing in-depth knowledge of Life Skills, learning activities, and experiences designed to help students fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth, as well as the best teaching practices for special education students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position will be critical in partnering with the Tuttle School Director.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES (Including Physical Function):
Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Teacher Certificate, Specialty in Special Education or Equivalent, CPI training, Bus and Van Training.
Experience:
Physical Abilities: Maintain physical ability to complete all essential functions and activities of the position.

Job Summary: Meaningful instruction for students, to facilitate learning in the absence of the regular teacher. Flexible, creative, and willing to fill in for various subjects and grade levels.
Detailed Responsibilities & Activities (Including Physical Function):
Minimum Requirements: Experience teaching in a classroom setting, good interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organization, ability to multi-task, and be able to pass a Background check.
Education: College education, Bachelor’s Degree.
Physical Abilities: Maintain physical ability to complete all essential functions and activities of the position.
Documentation Required: College Transcripts, teaching certificate, and documentation of experience.
